1. Do you have honeymoon packages?

ÓLEO Cancún Playa is located in Cancun's Hotel zone,  only 12 km from Cancun International Airport.

Yes, ÓLEO Cancún Playa boasts a privileged location in front of one of the most beautiful beaches in the destination.

3. How far is the resort from the airport?

ÓLEO Cancún Playa is located 13 kilometers from Cancun International Airport. It is a trip of approximately 15 minutes.

4. At what times can I access the resort's beach?

Access to the beach is not restricted, so you can enjoy it 24 hours a day. However, keep in mind that swimming is not allowed when the lifeguard is out.

5. Can I swim at the resort beach?

Yes, you can swim in the sea while the lifeguard is there, and as long as there is no red flag on the beach, it indicates that the sea's conditions are dangerous.

6. How many pools does the resort have?

ÓLEO Cancún Playa has one pool and a jacuzzi, both overlooking the sea.

7. Does the resort have a taxi station?

No, however, you can request a taxi with the concierge team.

8. How is the weather at Cancun?

Cancun flaunts a year-round warm weather with few rainy days, the temperatures go from 25°C (77°F) to 32°C (90°F).

9. Does the resort have parking?

Yes, ÓLEO Cancún Playa has a private parking lot.

10. What are the pool hours?

The main pool is open from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., and the NUUP Spa® pool is open from 8:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.

11. Does the resort have wheelchair access?

Yes, the resort has ramps and wheelchair access to elevators, as well as rooms that are suitable for guests with wheelchairs.

12. What are the Check-In and Check-Out times?

Check-in: 3:00 pm. Check-out: 12:00 pm.
Guests can enjoy the facilities in case the arrival and departure flight times are outside the established schedules. Access to restaurants and bars after the check-out time has an additional cost. For more information, you can consult with your concierge or butler.

13. Does the resort offer laundry services?

Yes, laundry services are available at an additional cost.

14. Does the resort have an Early Check-in and Late Check-out service?

Yes, ÓLEO Cancún Playa offers early check-in and late check-out at an additional cost and is subject to availability. The cost will depend on the season; you can consult directly with your concierge or in the Guest Service area.

Yes, ÓLEO Cancún Playa offers 24-hour Room Service with a delectable menu to enjoy inside the comfort of your room.

2. Are tips mandatory?

ÓLEO Cancún Playa offers a luxurious all-inclusive plan in which this service is already included in the rate, therefore tips are at each guest's discretion; however, feel free to thank our Arteleros if their service is exceptional.

3. Does the resort offer Day Pass?

Yes, ÓLEO Cancún Playa offers a Full Pass, availability of which depends on the season and resort occupancy. We invite you to request it with a minimum of 2 days in advance through our Contact Center to ensure that you can enjoy the service on the desired date.

4. Does the resort offer ground transportation from the airport?

It's possible to book the transportation service from the airport to ÓLEO Cancún Playa with an additional charge, through the website or by calling the Contact Center. Some rates available on our website include complimentary transportation.

5. Can I smoke at the resort?

By official regulations, smoking is prohibited in enclosed areas, suites, restaurants, balconies, and terrace areas. However, there are designated areas for smokers:

Reservations are only required for our Hakka and Almar restaurants.

9. Is the resort pet-friendly?

Yes, ÓLEO Cancún Playa is a Dog Friendly resort. Our Pet-It® Program allows small-breed dogs to stay and enjoy special amenities and services.

No, ÓLEO Cancún Playa only offers the all-inclusive plan.

2. What does the all-inclusive plan include?

Stays at ÓLEO Cancún Playa include access to the beach, pools, gym, activities, unlimited food and beverages at the 5 restaurants and 2 bars, plus state-of-the-art rooms with 24-hour room service. Learn more about the All-Inclusive plan.

3. What services or facilities are not included in the resort?

The all-inclusive plan at ÓLEO Cancún Playa does not include private dinners, selected wine lists, massages and treatments at NUUP Spa®, Pet-it® Program, motorized water sports, nor the organization of special events such as weddings and amenities for honeymooners.

(For INSPIRA guests, some of these services come in their All-Inclusive package.)

4. Does the resort feature water sports?

ÓLEO Cancún Playa is a hotel focused on relaxation. Some of these activities are available through external companies. For more information, we invite you to consult directly with your concierge.

6. What is the difference between Suites and INSPIRA Suites?

INSPIRA Suites offer more exclusive amenities and services, as well as a strategic location in the resort to enjoy the best views.

1. Which amenities are available at the suites?

All suites at ÓLEO Cancún Playa have a fully stocked minibar, air conditioning, ceiling fan, wifi,  Smart TV, hairdryer, towels, coffee maker, and a safety deposit box.

2. Which is the maximum number of guests allowed per room?

ÓLEO Cancún Playa suites have a maximum capacity of 4 guests.

3. Do you have adjoining suites?

4. Does the resort provide towels?

Yes, guests receive bath and beach towels for use within the ÓLEO Cancún Playa facilities.

5. Do the suites have baby cribs?

No, should you need one, we recommend requesting it before your arrival because they are subject to availability.

6. What are the available views in the resort suites?

Suite views depend on the category booked. The ÓLEO Cancún Playa Suites include views of the gardens, the Nichupté Lagoon, or the impressive Caribbean Sea. It is important to note that in some categories, it is not possible to guarantee the view.

1. What is the minimum age to stay at the resort?

There's no age minimum for staying at ÓLEO Cancún Playa. However, the reservation holder must be 18 years old at registration and present valid official identification with a photograph such as their passport or a driver's license.

It's only possible to do with Mexican credit cards.

6. What happens to the reservation if my credit card is declined?

Payment is required to confirm any reservation. If your card is declined, you must contact your bank to request authorization or provide another valid credit card to complete the payment.

Yes, all reservations can be changed at any time. However, they are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed.

Keep in mind that the rate may increase depending on the season or room category, so you must pay the difference when requesting the change.

ÓLEO Cancún Playa features a state-of-the-art gym equipped with the latest Technogym® gear, which includes a weight lifting area and cardio machines.

2. Is NUUP Spa® Cancún Playa included?

Access to the facilities, as well as massages and treatments at NUUP Spa® Cancún Playa have an additional cost.

3. Which services are offered at NUUP Spa® Cancún Playa?

NUUP Spa® Cancún Playa features hairstyling, manicure, hydrotherapy, pedicure, among other treatments to pamper yourself.

4. Which facilities are offered at NUUP Spa® Playa Mujeres?  

NUUP Spa® Cancún Playa features a steam bath, sensations shower, sauna, bathtub with exterior hydromassage, comfortable ocean view private cabins, a long list of massages and treatments, open air relaxation area, as well as manicure and pedicure services.

5. Does the resort offer vegetarian options?

ÓLEO Cancún Playa has gluten-free and vegetarian options (the dishes are highlighted on the menu with symbols). In addition, the Service and Chefs team is available to prepare any specific diet that guests need.

1. Are medium and large-sized dogs allowed?

For safety reasons, only dogs with a maximum weight of 10 kilos (22 lbs) are allowed.

2. Can I take more than one pet?

Only one dog per suite is allowed.

3. Are there additional charges for bringing my pet?

Yes, the stay of your pet has an additional cost of $50 USD for each night. This charge does not apply to guests who must travel with guide dogs, according to the initiative of the Law for the Use of Guide Dogs and Service Animals.

4. Are there designated areas for dogs?

Within ÓLEO Cancún Playa, there are designated areas for the relaxation of dogs. Guests must carry bags to collect their dog's waste and bottled water for hydration.

1. How much anticipation does the resort require to book a wedding?

There is no minimum or maximum time. However, it is recommended to book the location in advance as beach weddings are in high demand regardless of the season.

2. What happens if it rains the day of the wedding or the weather does not allow the event to be held outdoors? 

We always have a plan B for our Weddings Hechas a Mano. The hotel can prepare some areas so that this special day goes as planned.

3. Are wedding guests required to stay at the resort?

It is optional for guests to stay at the hotel. However, wedding attendees must pay for a FullPass. The couple may enjoy some privileges depending on the number of guests and rooms booked for the wedding. On the other hand, the couple can enjoy some privileges depending on the number of guests and rooms contracted for the wedding.

4. Must the wedding be fully paid in advance?

No, only a down payment will be required to lock in the desired date and location.

5. What do the wedding packages include?

1. Which measures are taken at the resort against COVID-19?

Your safety and that of our Arteleros are of the utmost importance to us, which is why ÓLEO Cancún Playa carries out various cleaning, hygiene, and disinfection tasks with the highest quality standards.

  • Certified nebulization against COVID-19 before the arrival of a new guest.

2. Which are the protocols in case of presenting COVID-19 symptoms?

If you present the symptoms characteristic of the virus, you will be directed to the resident doctor of ÓLEO Cancún Playa for an immediate assessment, who will determine if you require medical attention and an antigen or PCR test. 3. Do you offer on-site COVID-19 testing?

For your convenience, ÓLEO Cancún Playa has antigen tests available through an external lab. We invite you to go directly to your concierge if you need one. Consult cost and available times.

1. What kind of electrical adapter should I bring?

Suites are equipped with North American outlets (Type A and some with Type B). We recommend you travel with a universal adapter in case your appliance has a different input than the ones mentioned.

2. Can tap water be drunk?

We do not recommend you drink tap water. You can find bottled water and many other drinks in your suite's mini-bar and the different bars of ÓLEO Cancún Playa.

3. What is the best season to visit the Mexican Caribbean?

The whole year is ideal for visiting the Mexican Caribbean! A few things to consider: it is the sunniest from January to April but it isn't too hot. There are a few rainy days during summer and autumn, and May to November is the hurricane season.

4. Can my vacation be affected by seaweed on the beaches?

At ÓLEO Cancún Playa, we keep the beach clean of both seaweed and trash. In addition, the arrival of microalgae is not so recurrent along this coastal strip. Likewise, there are hundreds of activities to do both inside and outside the resort, so your vacation won't be affected.
